Experienced Asbestos Removers Wanted for NUVIA Access – Join Us in Building the Future of Nuclear Projects
NUVIA Access specializes in scaffolding. Our certified installers have extensive experience working in nuclear and other safety-critical environments. With offices in Norrköping and operations throughout Sweden, we are always close to our customers.
Note! The recruitment is handled by Nuvia Nordic AB, but the employment will be with Nuvia Access AB.
We are now looking for experienced and certified asbestos removers who want to be part of our growing team in Varberg.
About the RoleAs an asbestos remover at NUVIA Access, you will work on projects with high demands for safety, quality, and precision. You will be part of a close-knit team and will work closely with our specialists in containment and access solutions.
Your Main ResponsibilitiesConduct asbestos removal according to AFS 2006:1 and other applicable regulations
Dismantling work in construction and industrial environments
Safe handling and transport of materials and equipment
Building and working in containment areas
Ensuring that all work complies with nuclear safety requirements, internal procedures, and occupational safety legislation
Documentation of completed work according to our quality standards
Requirements:
Documented experience in asbestos removal and dismantling work
Completed asbestos training
Valid fitness certificate for working with asbestos
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Good physical condition and ability to work in a high-safety environment
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Meritorious:
Experience from nuclear power, industry, or other high-risk environments
Driver's license (B)
Certificates/training such as:
Scaffold certificate
Safe lifting
Fall protection
Hot work
Experience with mobile work platforms
Knowledge of English
Location: Varberg
Working hours: 07:00-16:00
Start: By agreement
Employment type: Initial fixed-term employment for 6 months, with the possibility of permanent employment
Salary and conditions: According to the Construction Agreement
The work will take place at nuclear facilities (protected objects). Therefore, the following will be required: ✔ Security interview ✔ Background check ✔ Medical examination ✔ Drug test
